Help with connecting wireless routers.

Hello all I need some help. I have a Netgear wireless WPN 842 router down stairs in my office. The DSl is upstairs. I have this 50 foot long Cat 5 cable running in my house from upstairs to the router downstairs. Don't wanna do this, as we tend to trip over it. So I went out and bought a Netgear Wireless - N 300 WNR2000 router. My question is can i connect the WPN 842 downstairs to pick up wireless signals from the WNR2000 upstairs? So it should look like this. internet to modem. Ethernet from modem to WNR2000 router. WRN2000 broadcast wirelessly. WPN 842 picks up the signal downstairs. WPN 842 connects to my computer via a cat 5 cable.

If anyone can help me that would be great.
